So far from watching all these ads, I've concluded that the credits definitely go at the end. The "Kahunas present" bit at the beginning should not be used as I feel that it kind of gives off a film/movie trailer feel to it instead of a TVC. Also, another point I'd like to make is the fact that they have used very nice footage at the end, that would usually make me feel all emotional, and would always have their important message, in writing, placed into the frame. This is not always the case, but most of them are done this way.
Here's are examples of that:
But to make it easier for everyone, I should show screen shots of what I mean.
I've been concentrating on Merdeka ads, because obviously, they would have the whole multi-racial thing covered. The fact that I've been looking at Petronas ads is because the one that's inspired us in the first place was a Petronas ad. One thing that I really love about these ads is that they always seem to touch me and 98% of the time, after watching them, my eyes would be all red and I'd have the sniffles because of all the crying. That's something we want to achieve -- the touchy part. But we're not planning on making people cry though, because we want it to be a happy TVC. I'm not really sure how to say it properly but I know we're using the/an emotional appeal.
So the style we're going for is definitely this kind of style;
